Privacy Policy

1. Who we are

[Placeholder: legal entity name and registered address — the data controller for the purposes of the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).] You can reach us at Contact us and we'll be glad to help..

2. What we collect

  • Account & billing data: the email address and customer name you provide at purchase.
  • License data: your license key, the plan/term you bought, and a fingerprint of each machine

it's activated on (derived from the machine's own ID — we do not collect hardware identifiers beyond what's needed to enforce your plan's machine limit).

  • Access logs: IP address and timestamp of each license check, kept for security/fraud

prevention (e.g. detecting a leaked key).

  • Payment data: handled entirely by our payment processor (currently Stripe). We never

receive or store your full card number.

To perform the contract when you buy a license (issuing, validating, and letting you manage it), for our legitimate interest in keeping the Service secure and preventing abuse (access logs), and with your consent where the law requires it (see our Cookie Policy).

4. How long we keep it

License and billing records are kept for as long as your license is active and for a reasonable period afterward for accounting/legal purposes. Access logs are kept for a limited security window and then deleted or aggregated. [Placeholder: state exact retention periods once decided.]

5. Who we share it with

  • Our payment processor (Stripe), to process your payment.
  • Our email delivery provider, to send you transactional email (license keys, receipts, support

replies).

  • Our hosting provider, who stores the infrastructure this runs on.

We do not sell your personal data.

6. Your rights

Under the GDPR (and equivalent laws elsewhere) you have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data, to restrict or object to our processing of it, to receive a copy in a portable format, and to withdraw consent at any time where processing is based on consent. To exercise any of these, contact us at Contact us and we'll be glad to help.. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection supervisory authority.

We use cookies as described in our Cookie Policy — only strictly-necessary ones today (keeping you signed in), which don't require consent, plus an optional consent choice you make via the cookie banner for anything added in the future.

8. International transfers
